Belknap was born in Damariscotta. She is the daughter of David Belknap and Louise Belknap. She went to Lincoln Academy in Newcastle Maine. While an undergraduate in Middlebury College (Vermont), she began to become attracted to the art of acting. The American Conservatory Theater granted her a degree of master of Fine Arts. Belknap has appeared on a number of television shows including Medical Investigations (related with ER & Third Watch) & The Handler. In addition, she has guest-starred as a guest on Law & Order Law & Order Special Victims Without a Trace, Deadline as well as recurring on Deadline. PEOPLE confirmed exclusively the news that Anna Camp has separated from Skylar Attin, after nearly 2.5 years of marriage. The former couple said in a statement made to PEOPLE that they'd decided to split up.
