Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit known as an Indian actress, is best recognized for her roles as Beta, Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!'. She started her career in the 80s and became famous for her performance in the film "Tezaab" in which she co-starred with Anil Kapoor who is a veteran actor. In the movie 'Dil she was a part of the cast alongside Aamir Khan. Her family was raised in Mumbai by an upper-middle class family. As a child, she began to learn dance. She tried her hand at acting as a teenager however, it wasn't an easy task. A majority of her first films failed. She eventually found success and was able to establish herself as one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. Following her marriage, she took a break but went back to the entertainment industry. She also played a major role in the movie "Gulaab Gang," which focused on the struggles of women from India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of the awards she received were for her. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). Her work in the field of social service is another something to be proud of.
